About Kushal
Hailing from a family of singers and writers, Kushal grew up with music. He started learning music from his parents, Sri Kamal Chattopadhyay and Smt Indrani Chatterjee, who both are singers. Later he took music lesson from legendary musician Smt Dr. Sisir Kona Dhar Choudhury a disciple of Swar Samrat Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.
An accomplished software engineer by profession, Kushal lives in Silicon Valley of California. Thousand miles away from home he continues to follow his passion for Indian music. He is known singer / composer in Indian community living in and around San Francisco Bay area and Sacramento and actively performs in many cultural events and platforms.
